To my family!
I would like to thank all of my family and friends for supporting me through this amazing, strange, and insightful journey. I have learned a lot about myself and life. I would like to especially thank my grandparents, May and Bernie, for making this trip possible!
I love you all.
To Future Study Abroaders!
To all of you who are considering spending a semester overseas: DO IT! Take advantage of the opportunities you have now, while you are in college. This trip has taught me a lot about myself, my life, and Europe. I have gained new prospectives on the world. I've learned to be more independent, self sufficient, organized, and how to manage my finances. Besides the little things I've gained in my knowledge, I have also gained a once in a life time opportunity that will follow me for the rest of my life.
This opportunity will open many doors for me in the future. At first it was hard for me to be here. It took a couple weeks to get over homesickness. No matter how hard it is at first, things will always get better. Suck it up for a couple of weeks, go out, make friends, and discover the world! The University of Surrey is an amazing place to do many things.
